Digital File Transfer


Whenever submitting artwork electronically make an archive of the entire job folder. Use Stuffit for Mac files or Zip for PC files. Do not Zip Mac files unless using the built in OS X archive feature or having confirmed that your archive utility is set to “Preserve Macintosh content.”    

  • Please review the Art Guidelines and/or request a template for your project.
  • Files < 5MB can be e-mailed to
  • Files 5MB to 600MB can be uploaded via FTP - Contact your account manager for personalized User ID, Password. See instructions below.


Pictura offers multiple methods to digitally transfer your files:


Web-Based File Transfer
Our transfer site has been discontinued.  Please use an alternative method to submit your art.
Client- Based FTP
Using FTP Client Software (Fetch, CyberDuck, FileZilla, Transmit, etc)

*Web browsers will be unable to properly access or upload to this server!
You can upload files directly to your sales rep’s user folder, or to the Customer Dropoff 24hr folder.

3rd Party Transfer Sites
There are a number of websites which provide free file transfers (up to their defined limits).

Pictura does not guarantee any specific service, but does accept files sent via these services.

Digital Media “Hard Copies”
Digital Files may also be mailed or shipped using standard digital media such as: CD, DVD, or USB Flash Drives.
*Digital media will not be returned unless a return shipping label is included, or is noted with the job.
